Meet the newest group to use our church building, The Dance Candle! The Dance Candle is a small dance school who was in need of immediate studio space due to an abrupt change in the terms of their former location. While we have not been pursuing long term use agreements of the church at this time, we were able to make an agreement to help them with their short-term need. They will be using space in our church building through their recital date in June.
Their website describes them like this: “The Dance Candle combines the elegance, excellence, grace and artistry of technique with the heart, passion, conviction and soul of worship. Students of all ages are trained to honor God with movement and learn the beauty of living a lifesyle of worship.”
After worship this coming Sunday, February 5, they will be holding an Open House so that their students and their family members can see the space they will be using. And, our church community is invited too! You are all welcome to stop by Room 209 and check out how it is transformed for their use with the addition of their portable dance floor, mirrors, and barres.
You may see some of the dancers, their families, or The Dance Candle’s staff in worship on Sunday. Let’s help them feel welcome as they make Ginter Park Baptist Church their temporary home!
