During the Sunday School hour for the four Sundays of August, the adults will explore and reflect upon the sacraments using short videos from Rachel Held Evans. She uses the sacraments as a way of talking about her own faith journey. Rather than explaining them, she relates to them and talks about her life through the lens of these ancient Christian practices.
Raymond and Tracy Cady will be our discussion leaders as we engage with our own experiences of life and sacrament to see how they intersect. We will reflect on the sacraments of communion, baptism, confession, confirmation, and the anointing of the sick to talk about our own faith journeys. All are welcome to join us at 9:00 am for one or multiple Sundays!
