Ginter Park Baptist Church stands with our neighbors at the West End Islamic Center, and in opposition to anti-Muslim rhetoric and violence. As Baptists, we are committed to the freedom of worship for all, and are dismayed to see this hateful attack on another house of worship. We concur that “An attack on any house of worship certainly feels like an assault on the community.” We pray for healing, safety and peace for the WEIC, as well as for healing of the hearts of the perpetrator(s), that they understand the evil of their ways, and work to make amends.
